Officer Wins Title Back and Back Pay

A Yakima police officer investigated for alleged romantic relationships with co-workers has won his title of Capt. back along with back pay....a result of a State Arbitrator decision. Capt. Rod Light was demoted to Sgt. last year after the investigation. But a State Arbitrator ruled the city didn't prove allegations of sexual misconduct and ordered Light to be reinstated to Capt. and give him back pay. The city could appeal the ruling to County Superior Court.
