No Strong Mayor Question On The Ballot This Year

No strong mayor issue on the ballot this year. Instead members of the group Citizens For Safe Streets and Lower Taxes say they'll try again possibly in 2012. Members felt this wasn't the year to go for passage of the issue that would change the current council manager to a strong mayor form of government. They say they want time to educate people and talk about the issue in the community before it lands on the ballot possibly next year.
