No Search For Suspect Man Shot Himself

A 30 year old man who first told authorities he was shot while standing outside a home in the 18 thousand block of Yakima Valley Highway on Wednesday now says he shot himself. Detectives with the County Sheriff's Office say the man admitted he shot himself in the chest while handling a handgun inside his home. The man was treated at a local hospital for the non life threatening wound.
