No Big Crowds Jumping In Water At Franklin

Franklin pool in yakima will stay in business despite the small number of people using the pool this summer. The pool faced closure last fall because of lack of money and budget shortfalls. This year the pool is $30,000 short again. Yakima hoped putting in the new grassy area at Franklin would bring in more people and money, but the numbers are about the same. Swimmers think this summer's cool weather is to blame. Pool officials are still working on possibly getting a new water slide at franklin in the future.
