Trevor Greene, the new superintendent of the Yakima School District, says he's reviewing every aspect of the district -- including a recent study by the Washington Department of Labor and Industries that found threats, intimidation and disrespect by administrators aimed at teachers and other staff. Greene says he's looking for a positive way forward that would create more trust in the district.
He says his biggest motivation is to serve students.
Greene is a graduate of A.C. Davis High School and was a teacher in the Yakima School District before he was hired as the executive director of Human Resources for the Highline School District in Burien.
Greene started his job in Yakima on July 1.
