Naches Ranger District Considering Closing Some Trails

Worried about Spring runoff and trail damage, officials with the Naches Ranger District are considering closing all the District's motorized trails. The closure could either be for the entire Spring or the Memorial weekend or both. District Spokesman Doug Jenkins says a final decision is expected at the end of this month. Jenkins says they want everyone to be prepared with alternate plans if the closure is put in place later this year.
