The Yakima Union Gospel mission knows it's going to be feeding a lot of people this month on Thanksgiving. As a result, the mission is looking for your help. The mission says it expects to feed some 600 people on Thanksgiving.

Mission officials say many of those served are homeless and have no family or friends to spend Thanksgiving. The mission has started an e-mail campaign hoping for support and they're reaching out across the community for that help as well.
They say $2.07 cents is what it will take to feed someone at the mission this holiday season. They're hoping you can give enough to feed several people or more.

Maybe you were at a grocery store recently and you paid for a food bag or had a coupon scanned. The mission says it all helps to create a better Thanksgiving for those in need.
