Yakima County Prosecutor Jim Haggerty says he is reviewing misdemeanor marijuana possession cases in the wake of voters legalizing the recreational use of the drug. Haggerty says he will make a decision on the cases before the law takes effect on Dec. 6th. Prosecutors in Clark, King and Pierce Counties have already decided to drop misdemeanor marijuana possession cases where the defendants are at least age 21 and the quantity of marijuana was less than one ounce.
