DENVER (AP) — Colorado stoners will be getting a break next Wednesday. Because of a quirk in the state sales-tax law, legal pot will be tax-free. That should shave about 20 bucks off an ounce of mid-grade weed. The one-day tax waiver is mandated by a provision in the Colorado Taxpayer's Bill of Rights, which requires voter approval of new taxes. Colorado voters will decide in November whether to keep the pot taxes.
