Man’s Body Found In Snowy Field In Lower Valley

Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say a man found dead in a snow covered field in the 6800 block of VanBelle Road near Sunnyside early Tuesday morning died of exposure. Deputies were called to the area at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. They say while no foul play was involved they don't know how the man arrived in the area or who may have been with the man prior to his death. The man has not been identified. An investigation is underway.
