Man Wanted for Assault on Community College Campus

An assault on the Yakima Valley Community College campus is under investigation by Yakima Police and the schools campus security. Lt. Mike Merryman says it happened at about 9 Tuesday night when a woman was walking to her car on campus. A man reportedly grabbed and fondled her before running away. Police are investigating to see if the man is connected to similar assaults in Central and North Central Yakima last year. Merryman says in each case the victim has been alone. He says if you're a woman try walking with others in well lit areas to better protect yourself.
