Man Found Dead Last Friday Was Victim of a Homicide

A man's body was found last Friday in the area of U.S. Highway 97 and West Wapato Road. On Thursday an autopsy was conducted and the results show the man, in his 20's to 40's was the victim of a homicide.
The man died from a gunshot wound according to Yakima County Coroner Jim Curtice. The man's name hasn't been released. Because the man was found on the reservation the FBI and Yakima Nation police are handling the investigation.
