
Man Accused of Throat Slashing Charged with First Degree Attempted Murder
A man accused of slashing the throats of two people at a Union Gap home Sunday morning made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon. Emery Brasker faces charges of first degree attempted murder and assault. The judge set bail for the 35-year-old at $750,000. Brasker is accused of attacking his brother and brother's girlfriend. Police say they do not have a motive. Investigators say both victims are out of the hospital recovering from severe knife wounds to the neck and face.
