Yakima’s jobless rate now stands at 11.6 percent. that’s up a full percentage point from the previous month. However, it’s lower than the rate seen a year ago when it was 12.4 percent. 14,320 people are now registered as being out of work and looking for a job. That’s about 600 fewer people when compared to the same time in 2010.
