Looking For Empathy? Look To The End Of The Leash!

Who do you know that’s great at empathizing?  Your spouse?  The preacher? Do you still think Bill Clinton feels your pain? What about your pooch?  Dogs are great at empathizing because in addition to their ability to catch a ball, they can also catch your mood!

A new study published in the journal Animal Cognition reports that dogs are just as likely to catch feelings from humans as they are from other dogs.

Experiments show when dogs heard emotional sounds from either a human or a dog, the animals were able to distinguish between the happy sounds and the sad ones.  (Elite Daily)
