Several bike helmets will be distributed to kids at the seventh annual Fiesta de Salud Health Fair thanks to Kohl's Department Stores.

At the Spring Fling celebrated at Franklin Park, Kohl's donated $6,900 to Memorial Hospital for the purchase of the helmets.

Memorial vice president of communications and president of The Memorial Foundation Anne Caffrey said in a press release, "Memorial is thrilled to have Kohl’s continued support for programs that improve the health and wellness of the Yakima community."

During the past three years, Kohl's Cares has donated more than $21,000 to different parts of Memorial Hospital including Children's Village and YouthWorks.

The helmets will be distributed at the Modern Living Building on the Yakima County Fairgrounds during the health fair. The first 500 children will be fitted and receive helmets during the event on July 26.
