Just in Time for the Holidays! Updated Google Photos App

UNDATED (AP) — Just in time for your holiday celebration or New Year's Eve bash, Google is making it easier to share your snapshots.

The updated Google Photos app now has a shared albums feature. Google says those receiving a shared album can add their own photos and videos. You'll also get notifications when new pics are added.

According to Google, there's no complicated set up. Just create an album, then send a link to your friends and family.

The updated Google Photos app is a free download on Google Play and Apple's App Store. You also can access Google Photos on the web.
