Julia Child is Celebrated With a Remix

Hi! It's Jacksonian from the Smithsonian. Yesterday was the 100th birthday of the one and only Julia Child. Yes, the lady that brought fine cooking to TV.  For years Julia has influenced many people to cook and we watched her make many a dish.  Saturday Night Lives' Dan Arykroyd  even did spoofed her on the show.  I always cracked up laughing when Julia would take out the meat clever and started to whack away at the piece of meat the was the center of a meal that was being prepared. It was like a weapon of mass destruction.  Yesterday, I was looking at what PBS was doing to celebrate her life and I came across this.  Check it out and Bon-a-petit!
