We all long for adventure, but many of us never get the opportunity to really chase it, to embrace it. To conquer it and come out of the experience stronger, smarter, and more full love life than before.

I’m sure that’s why Hollywood action-adventure films are so popular. I remember watching Sylvester Stallone’s 1993 hit, Cliffhanger, when I was a teenager, and I was ready to get some gear and go tackle a mountain.

That dream of conquering the odds and nature didn’t come true for me, but it has for a select few, and one of the best is coming to the Yakima Valley to share his truly inspiring experiences.

Jimmy Chin, professional climber, skier, photographer, filmmaker (and so much more) is coming to Yakima’s Capitol Theatre as part of their Yakima Town Hall speaker series on Wednesday, April 23rd.
