Rain Expected This Weekend in Yakima

We've had a few days of very nice weather here in the Yakima Valley but, as with all nice things, that'll come to a brief pause as rain is expected this weekend.

So, you know, don't try to make too many outdoor plans because of the weather has been treating us well recently.

The nice weather we've had in Yakima this spring

I don't think Yakima could have asked for nicer weather for this spring break.

Temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s, nice skies, calm breeze, it's just about perfect to get out and ride your bike or go to the park or just enjoy an evening out in the backyard. There's nothing like spring time in Yakima. Allergies aside, of course.

However, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but looking into the future of the weather forecast they're expecting rain this weekend.

Both Saturday and Sunday.

Yakima Weather Forecast for Spring Break

This weekend started off perfectly and continues to be doing great. Sunshine and highs around 70.

That's when it takes a turn at the weekend.

Saturday is still expected to be nice enough but there a chance of rain later in the afternoon.

That continues on through Sunday morning with more rain expected.

Still, though, it shouldn't hamper the rest of your spring break. After this weekend it'll be a little cooler in the Yakima Valley with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Make the most of this weather because, before you know it, we'll be baking under that Yakima sunshine going into summer.
