7 of the Top 10 Most Expensive Restaurants are All in California

There was a reason people follow celebrity gossip or are infatuated with shows like the old 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. One can live vicariously through them to see the big house they have with the huge yard and a collection of nice cars. It was interesting to see how one could live while showing the wealth they have to the public.

Fine dining was always a topic of interest in that as well. Do you do that, too? Every restaurant I visit, even today, I find the most expensive item just out of pure curiosity.

If someone took you on a date? Ladies, have you ever intentionally ordered the most expensive item just because you could? You don't have to answer as I already know your answer.

Slingo released some insight for top celebrities based on wealth and more but I was more interested in the most expensive restaurants in the United States. As it turns out, 7 of the top 10 are all in Los Angeles, California.

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
