This Website Could Save Yakima Moviegoers From Heartbreak

My wife turned me onto a very safe and handy website that I’m now planning on using before I go hit the theater to see a film. All because I watched a movie that had a scene she did not enjoy, and for the record, I didn’t enjoy it either. But live and learn, and know before you go, so that you’re not heartbroken or disgusted before you drop your hard-earned money on a film.

The Movie That Got Me In Trouble

I was planning on taking my wife to see the new Jason Statham film Mutiny at the Yakima Cinema. As we were driving around, discussing it, she simply put, does the dog die? I told her how it’s Jason Statham kicking butt on a boat; I don’t think there’s a dog.

She then reminded me of Krypto in Supergirl and then the last Jason Statham film I watched, Shelter (spoiler alert), and said it was not a good film because of what happened to the dog. I had to apologize about the Shelter movie (I enjoyed it, but yeah, that scene was hard), and so she told me about the website, DoesTheDogDie.com.

Not Just Dog Triggers On That Site

She checked the site, and thankfully, all the dogs in this movie are safe. It did not mention anything about Seals or Sea Lions (the dogs of the sea).

I checked out the site and was quite pleasantly surprised; they have all different options for things that might trigger people. From violence, sex, kidnapping, animal abuse, and even eye mutilation. I could have used that warning, looking at you, Superman 2025!

As far as Mutiny goes, no dogs were injured, but plenty of bad guys were! Thank you, Jason; now please make Crank 3!
