Craft and vendor fairs and bazaars are, in the minds of many, a fall and winter activity.

If you have that mentality, get rid of it.

These events happen year-round, and the people creating the beautiful handcrafted items are busy 24/7.

Turning their hobbies into a personal goal, a small business. Something to be proud of!

Where to find these events can be the next issue.

There are Facebook groups for the crafting community and some gathering locations around the valley (Harmon Center, Glenwood Square, Selah Civic Center).

But when summertime comes, there’s a weekly market that you need to check out, especially if you’re a fan of crafts and homemade creativity!

The Selah’s Wednesday Market is the one event you know where and when it will be each week in the summer!

Every Wednesday through July, from 5 pm to 8 pm, you can check out beautiful handcrafted items, snacks, and more!

This past Wednesday, we had handmade jewelry, fresh-squeezed lemonade and limeade, metal sculptures, knitted and sewn items, homemade soaps, stones and crystals, jelly, and all sorts of baked goods!

View the pictures below and check out Selah’s Wednesday Market, right behind King’s Row Drive In at 2010 S 1st Street in Selah.
