Zillah High School officials say safety protocols had been met and the inflatable equipment was in a serviceable working condition before a large "dust devil" wind gust lifted the equipment injuring 4 students on Wednesday. According to a news release from school officials It was initially reported that five students were injured but now they say a fifth student was injured in a separate activity.
The only student seriously injured in the inflatable accident continues to be treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Three other students were treated for minor injuries. The students have not been identified. School officials say the continue to investigate the incident.
