**On Thursday, the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office announced that India will lift its 20% retaliatory tariff on U.S. apples, that’s been in place since 2018, within the next 90 days.

The Northwest Horticultural Council President, Mark Powers says, this is a win for apples.

India was once the second largest market for Washington apples, but exports had dropped more than 99% since the tariffs began.

**New data released this week from USDA’s Economic Research Service shows access to primary care physicians varies across the country.

The number of primary care physicians per 10,000 residents is generally higher in much of the Northeast, along the West Coast, Hawaii, and parts of the mountainous West and upper Midwest.

The availability is generally lower in much of the Great Plains and the Lower Mississippi Delta and Southeast.
