Homemade Camera Mistaken For Possible Explosive

It was a homemade camera that closed a part of the Central Washington University campus for some 4 hours on Tuesday. Campus police say the device was found by a university employee. It was a cylinder wrapped with duct tape. A bomb disposal unit from the Yakima Training Center was called and a street was closed as they checked it out. Authorities say the device could have been made by a student for some project.
