Home sales have been strong this year, even with the pandemic according to Cory Beemis owner of Yakima's John L. Scott Real Estate.
The 2020 Median Home Sales Price in the Yakima MLS is currently $278,000 which Beemis says is a 13.5% increase over 2019.
But for the first time in months sales were down in October.
Beemis says there were 171 total homes sold in October, 2020, a 2.8% decrease from the 176 homes that sold in October of 2019.
But overall there have been 1,547 total homes sold in 2020 which a 3.7% increase from last year (1,492).
