You could call it a rite of Spring,  Just as the sparrows return to Capistrano and the buzzards fly back to Hinkley, local school districts scramble and supporters rally on behalf of bonds for their schools and kids.

The Friends of Highland committee is hosting the "Highland Bond Kick-off Rally," an  informational and fun rally to inform voters about the upcoming bond that will come before the voters on April 28th.  The rally is Sunday, March 15th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and will be held at the Tieton City Square (Memorial Park) at 607 Maple Street, Tieton, WA.

Information about the upcoming bond proposal will be available.  Representatives from the school board and administration office will be there to answer your questions.  Various school groups and teams will be on hand.  There will be some live entertainment as well as FREE hot dogs, chips and water.  Glitter tattoos will be available for youth at no charge.  Impromptu and informal games will also make for a fun afternoon.

All voters in the Highland School District are encouraged to attend to learn more about the upcoming bond measure.
