The Buck stops here. Yakima County Prosecutor Joe Brusic is the man who makes the final decision on whether or not to charge a suspect with a crime.  His office evaluates the evidence and determines if there is enough of a case to convince a jury to convict beyond the shadow of a doubt.

There have been a couple of higher profile homicides recently that Brusic says, so far, don't rise to the level of murders. What goes into making that decision?

Prosecutor Brusic was on KIT's Morning News radio Wednesday 8/26/20 show to discuss the process and to share further thoughts on the ethics of the office and the irresponsibility of a mob driven rush to justice.

Joe will be back on air next month as he continues to push the transparency of his office and it's operations for the better understanding of the residents of Yakima County.
