Halloween Shooting Leaves One Man Shot In Stomach

An early evening shooting Halloween night shook up an entire neighborhood, and sent a 20-year-old man to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach. It happened just after 6 o'clock near the 300 block on north 7th street. witnesses say the suspected shooters fled the scene in what appeared to be a dark Honda Accord. Sgt. Gary Jones tells our News Partner KIMA Action news due to the timing and the spot where the attack happened, it's a blessing no one else was injured. A stray bullet did fly all the way into a bathroom of a young family's nearby apartment.The victim's injuries are reportedly not life threatening.
