Groundbreaking Number Two For Yakima School District

The Yakima School District is proud to announce the official Groundbreaking for the Stanton Academy Replacement Project this Thursday, September 8, beginning at 9:45 a.m.

The event, which will be held at the site for the new school, 802 River Road, will begin with music provided by the Discovery Lab School Band followed by a brief program and “turning of the dirt.” Providing messages will be district officials, as well as Paul Larson, 2009 Citizens Bond Committee Co-Chair.

This project will be completed by this time next year. Thanks to our community for their support of our schools!
