Here’s something to talk about when the whole family gets together this Christmas.  By “whole family” I mean grandparents and grand kids too.  Because if senior side of that equation is interested in a cheap, fun way to stay young into her golden years those grand kids could just be the key.

Grandmother, pester your kids to let you babysit their kids!

New research from something called the Women's Healthy Aging Project discovered that grandmothers who help with childcare at least one day per-week score better on cognitive tests than their peers. Experts feel this could result in lower rates of Alzheimer's and dementia. SO if a little is good is a lot better? Nope. Seniors are cautioned not to volunteer too much -- grandmothers that babysat five or more times per-week scored lower on tests than those who pulled just one shift.

A little goes a long way in keeping up with the little ones!
