Grandmother Not Guilty In Killing Daughter’s Unborn Baby

Querida Guerrero of Buena is out of jail this morning. The 49 year old woman was arrested last month after a fight with her pregnant daughter. Prosecutors say during the fight Guerrero kicked her daughter in the stomach. Her daughter was 31 weeks pregnant at the time and prosecutors alleged the kick killed the unborn baby. But an autopsy showed the baby actually died of a twisted umbilical cord and not from the blow to the stomach. As a result Guerrero was released from jail on Wednesday and the charges were dropped.
