Some people never grow up...perhaps they feel acting out the irresponsibility of youth will prolong a period of youthful happiness.   A new survey says they are kidding themselves.

Othersmight assume the happiest time in life is during the wild years of college, for those who can actually remember their college days!

But the truth is, for  most people, Happy Days actually come years after that.

Friends Reunited surveyed people over 40 about when whether they were happiest as a child, as a college student or as a 33-year old.

The results were overwhelming!  More than 70 percent of the poll’s respondents chose 33, whereas as 16 percent selected childhood and only six percent said they were happiest during their college years.

So why is that?  Psychological researchers offer this--"The age of 33 is enough time to have shaken off childhood naivety and the wild scheming of teenaged years without losing the energy and enthusiasm of youth.”

Speaking personally, I would say the happiest times are on the North side of 55 when you have the 3 year old whirling dervish that is Katelyn Autumn "GATOR" Ettl waiting for you to get home to start the piggy back rides, the buffalo head push wars, the book reading, story telling, neck squeezing crazytown time that is life with a three year old when you are finally old enough yourself to apreciate God's gift.  What ever your age, be HAPPY!
