Garbage And Truck Burn In Garbage Truck Fire

A garbage truck fire in downtown Yakima yesterday snarled traffic and caused major damage to the truck that costs more than a quarter of a million dollars. Firefighters say there were no injuries in the truck fire on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. between North First Avenue and Front Street. The fire is blamed on the failure of the trucks hydraulic system.
