Former Selah City Manager Faces Charges of Theft and Destruction of Public Documents

A Yakima County Superior Court judge on Tuesday refused to drop charges against Frank Sweet. The former city manager in Selah and Sunnyside. Sweet faces charges of destroying public documents and theft from the city of Selah while he was the Selah city manager. His attorney on Tuesday tried to convince the judge that the charges should be dropped for a lack of evidence. But the judge refused. No trial date has yet been set in the case. That is expected to happen within the next week.
