Snap Benefits Will Now Be Partially Funded through November 2025

According to a report from TIME, the United States Department of Agriculture will use up to $4.5B from emergency funds to cover 50% of SNAP benefits to American residents who are currently enrolled in the food assistance program as of October 31, 2025.

Washington's Basic Food Program aids close to one million people with food stamps. Governor Bob Ferguson recently mentioned that there are 900,000 folks who lean on SNAP to help put food on the table.
