A rat and insect infestation at a local warehouse in Zillah forced federal authorities to take action in late September. The FDA seized 175 pounds of spices from Dominguez foods in Zillah on September 30th after a federal inspection found rats, and bugs on and around food. Officials took everything that wasn't sealed airtight. The warehouse is a food storage and processing facility. Our news partner KIMA Action News talked to the FDA as well as the owner of the warehouse and they both said they're working right now to fix the issues.
