Yakima County Sheriff Ken Irwin is trying to comfort people who live in the Falcon Ridge development where 3 people were found murdered last week. Irwin spent time with residents this week talking to them about the ongoing investigation and hearing their concerns about safety. Irwin told the residents they have a right to arm themselves with a weapon but stressed the need for people to receive the proper training. Irwin says this could be a long investigation so he's urging everyone to be patient and support the work of the investigators.

The bodies of 61-year-old Bill Goggin, his 60 year old wife, Pauline and his 98 year old mother Elizabeth Goggin were found inside their Falcon Ridge home last Friday. Authorities believe they were all beaten to death sometime late last Wednesday night or early last Thursday morning.
