Downtown Association Holds CPTED Workshop

Calling all building owners in Yakima the Downtown Association of Yakima wants to help you improve safety and a sense of comfort for your property through what's called CPTED or Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. The association is holding a workshop on March 27 to talk to building owners about the CPTED. A press release says "the workshop will provide an overview that will give building and business owners a variety of ways to enhance the safety and appeal of their properties. One-on-one consultations may be scheduled as a follow-up to the workshop." The workshop is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 12;00 p.m. at the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce office at 10 North 9th Street.

Registration is free and necessary for attending the workshop. To register, attendees need to email their name, contact information and number of attendees to operationsmgr@downtownyakima.com or call 509-571-1328.
