If it’s been 12 years since your last fourth of July road trip you may be surprised to see the price at the pump.  It just might look like it hasn’t changed.  According to Bloomberg, these will be the lowest gas prices on the holiday since 2005,  with a national average of $2.21 a gallon.

Gas price practitioners say the national average has been as much as $1.04 a gallon higher in the past decade. This will also be the first time in 17 years that gas prices are expected to be lower for the Fourth of July than they were on New Year's Day.  Drive safely as well as cheaply!
