Monday was Memorial Day 2020 and a small ceremony was held at Sarg Hubbard Park to remember those who died in the fight for freedom. More than 100 people showed up on Monday afternoon for the event lead by Ed Falter of the Marine Corps League. He spoke of the men and women of the armed forces that gave their all for the United States. At one point during the event Falter allowed people to call out the name and military branch of family members who had past. Many people raised their hands and their voices. The service for Memorial Day 2020 included a three-gun-salute and the playing of taps.
The event happened in front of the Korean/Vietnam Memorial at Sarg Hubbard Park.
