Councilwoman Wants To Shine The Light On Crime

Yakima City Councilwoman Kathy Coffee says the city has failed to help reduce crime in area neighborhoods by not spending the money for needed street lights. Coffee says the city had the funding available last year but it was spent in other areas. Coffee says it's unacceptable. She says the council will talk about the issue again during the regular meeting Tuesday night at city hall. Coffee says the lights could make a big difference in fighting area crime.
