Congressman Hastings Applauds Killing Of OBL

4TH District Congressman Doc Hastings released a statement this morning concerning the killing of Osama Bin Laden...“The confirmed death of Osama bin Laden is good news for the security of the American people and a victory for our continued fight against al Qaeda, radical extremism and terrorism around the world. The brave men and women of our intelligence community and armed forces have persevered and fought terrorism for the past 10 years—and this success is a testament to their dedication and tireless commitment to the safety and freedom of the American people. I commend President Obama and his security team, President Bush and his administration for their leadership over the years and all American efforts to bring Osama bin Laden to justice. I especially want to congratulate all of the young men and women who serve from Central Washington for their vigilant efforts and courage in this global war on terror.”
