Congressman Doc Hastings Recovering In Hospital

US Rep. Doc Hastings is in a Tri-Cities hospital being treated for Diverticulitis, which is an inflammation of the inner lining of the intestine. The Republican was on a weekend visit to his district at the time he was admitted to the hospital. The disease is considered mild and responds well to treatment.
