Conference For Parents Set For Friday And Saturday

A special conference aimed at parents will be held Friday and Saturday at West Side Church in Yakima. The church is hosting “Instructing A Child's Heart - A Conference for Parenting All Ages.”  The conference will be held Friday and Saturday at the Church located at 6901 Summitview Avenue
According to a news release "parents will learn how to impress truth on the hearts of children, not control or manage them, but point them to a vibrant relationship with Christ.  Dr. Tedd Tripp, Senior Pastor Emeritus of Grace Fellowship Church (in Hazelton, PA), is the author of the popular child-rearing book, "Shepherding a Child’s Heart". He will teach this conference.
The conference will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM on Friday, January 8th and from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 9th.
A free paperback copy of Dr. Tripp's book is included with your paid registration. $60 per couple, $30 per individual. Free childcare (with paid conference registration) for one month through 5th grade by reservation only.  Space is limited; childcare available on a first-come, first-served basis.
