Do you know anyone who might be called a “clothes horse”? One definition is a person whose chief interest and pleasure is dressing fashionably.   Maybe it’s you, maybe your spouse but one thing for sure, it takes a lot of cabbage to feed a clothes horse!Researchers surveyed nearly 2,000 women age 16 and up and found that 33 percent consider clothing "old" after wearing it fewer than three times.  What?  Three times or less!  Old is right! That behavior would get mighty old and in a hurry!

The top reasons given for ditching a piece of clothing were "change in weight "(49%), or "because the item was bought on a whim" (23%.)

One in seven women said social networks had a strong influence on their perception of a clothing item being new or old, as being photographed in the same dress on different nights out is considered a "fashion no-no."

The survey also revealed the average woman has 66 items of clothing, with ten of those items she never plans to wear again.  Sheesh!(Daily Mail)
