Just about everyone at our radio station group has suffered through the cold season this year with one of those “it just won’t go away” kinda miserable colds!   It's hard to believe that in 2017 we still don't have a cure for the common cold, but now science reports it might be getting close.

Some European researchers are said to have unlocked the 'enigma code' of the parechovirus, which is within the same family of viruses that cause colds.  Hear that colds? We're coming for you!!!

Scientists now believe they can disrupt how the virus replicates which could lead to the development of a drug treatment that a patient could take to either prevent catching a cold for a drug that can treat the symptoms of a a cold. (Daily Mail)
