City Council Considers New Sister City Relationship

Yakima has a sister city relationship with the city of Morelia...in the state of Michoacan in south-central Mexico. But on Tuesday the Yakima city council is going to talk about adding another city...this time the city council will vote on becoming a sister city with Hadong-gun South Korea.
the relationship with the city of Yakima started five years ago when city representatives from south Korea visited the Central Washington State Fair and opened a special green tea exhibit.

The Yakima City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Yakima City Hall.
