Central Washington State Fair to Boost Local Economy

The Yakima Economy is about to get a huge boost with the opening of the Central Washington State Fair. General Manager Greg Stewart says the overall impact of the 10 day event is a whopping 29 million dollars. Stewart says the impact of the fair is far and wide from non profits in the community making hundreds of thousands of dollars to community members who get jobs during the event. Stewart says everything is ready and the grounds are prepped for the opening of the Central Washington State Fair at noon Friday. The theme to this year's fair is Fair Fever....Catch It!!
